Riding in a hot air balloon, while gazing up below and seeing the sun from a distance is an experience like no other. So, you should never skip out on an opportunity if you are ever given one.
But, here’s a reminder right off the bat, make sure to check all security features are met and that the pilot to take you on the ride is legit.
So, one of the most common questions we hear from people is “do I need to wear something light?” Well, yes and no. What you wear depends on the climate on the day you will take your ride. First thing though, make sure to wear sensible shoes, shoes that you are comfortable with.
If the climate is a bit cold, then you need to wear extra layers. But if it is sunny or fine all the way, wear clothes you would wear if you are about to go to the countryside. Also, take a hat or a beanie. Headgear to protect you from the heat of the burners.
This is not just in the spur of the moment thing by the way. But, in some cases, it is, for example, during most festivals across the globe a few lucky people get to ride hot air balloons on the spot. But, if you want to plan to get the best day and climate to do it, then please do so.
If you think it is going to be easy to book a flight, then you are mistaken. It is not that hard; however, hundreds of people are doing the same. When booking, you get to choose the date and even the route you want to take.
Bring a camera
Without a camera, you are sure to have regret. Unless you are against the idea of taking photos for the sake of memories and you want to soak it in all on your own, for your own. But, bring a camera with you.
Hot air ballooning, is a great experience; hot air ballooning in Canada, is just sublime.
